Final Fantasy XII thoughts…

Wow! Even getting to play this game has been an adventure in itself. Packages held by customs, relatively large charges on delivery, and of course the PS2, all conspired against me. If I had to wait 10 times longer it would still be worth it though.

30 hours in, I can safely say this is one of the best FF games ever, maybe from a casual gamer point of view, THE best. As much as I love the Sakaguchi era games, sometimes its good to move on. The presentation of the game is unparalleled, even on a next gen system. Its hard to believe sometimes that this game went through such a drawn out problem filled production process: Everything feels deliberate here, no corners cut, nothing clipped due to time/money restraints.
