Almost done…

With that bloody White Mage subjob.

Its not that I deeply dislike the job, its perfectly OK. I just have trouble getting reasonable parties now. Yuhtunga Jungle and Yhoatar Jungle were an absolute nightmare, people generally have no idea how to play this game anymore, at the lower levels at least. I dread to think what will happen to them when they actually have to do something challenging. The reason is obvious unfortunately, people getting powerlevelled every step of the way. Tanks who don’t provoke, RDMs who don’t understand how to enfeeble, and bad subjob choices.

I know I know, people need to experiment, but WHM/MNK is not cutting it with me, I’m sorry.

I took a half decent party out to Bibiki Bay last night, when they all wanted to go to Garliage Citadel. Why the hell would anyone want to go there? Cookie Cutter ftl. The party all were really happy when they realised I picked a spot with easy mobs, and we were the only party in there our level. When the EXP dropped to 180 per kill (chained constantly mind you for a safe healthy exp per hour) they wanted to move. I suggested if it was entirely necessary, Puripongo Isle, just a mannaclipper ride away. I have no idea if they listened.

I got bored of the complaining, got them a new whm and dropped. The new WHM had a PL with her. What a surprise -.-

Still, I got my Erase scroll today, so when I hit 33 for Reraise ill drop it completely. I want to level my Red Mage for once. Its the job I love, and gimp sub or no, ill have all the stupid WHM spells ill need to get through. Ill concentrate on Bard after that. Hopefully as Bard ill pick up more experienced/intelligent parties on that job.

Been hanging out on NewHope linkshell too. Its nice having a linkshell again. Speaking to Mistersin and Flutter made me realise how much I missed them. Dunno if I could call it home just yet (they are kinda quiet compared to TheClick, and don’t do much as a Linkshell) but when people need Shadow Lord fight and ZMs etc I bet business will pick up. One difference is the lack of manipulation of goals, but at least SOME goals is healthy.

Im also getting itchy CoP trigger finger. After getting an alliance pick up for Phominua Aqueducts, I’m trying to get a static together. I have a few people interested so that’s some progress. Same goes for the rest of the Sandy Rank missions. These don’t seem too difficult at all oddly.All the drama over the bans/suspensions seems to have gone away. It was kinda funny to see all the people who claimed to be legit get banned. Some I was very surprised by (im not just talking about Windower use here) but people still protest their innocence.

Lets face it, if you are in a highly successful end game shell, you or someone affiliated with you, is likely to be a cheat. Speaking of which, I was very shocked to see how many minor members of TheClick bought gil, and were known for it around the server.

Dynamis is turning out to be an interesting thing now, as many people have been kicked or left. Shame really, as we were getting a solid group together. The new members are a mix of the useless, and really good. The strength of the RDMs on the shell is top notch thankfully. I’m looking to recruit more bodies though, we need strength in numbers to speed things up.

Not much is happening. Keeping everything as simple as possible, and wondering what to do once I hit 75. I’m keeping my ear to the ground for a endgame shell, one that is relatively friendly at least.
